Please see the attached Press Release and Administrative Order No. ADM24-002, adopting the NextGen Bar Examination structure in Guam beginning July 2026.

The GBA mourns the loss of veteran member Gary W.F. "Frank" Gumataotao who passed away last Friday, January 26th at the age of 69. Attorney Gumataotao has served the public in many capacities, both in private practice and at several government agencies, most recently as deputy attorney general. Attorney Gumataotao leaves behind his wife, Atsuko and his children, Joshua, Hannah and Aya.

The GBA would like to remind its members of changes identified on the Amended Promulgation Order No. PRM06-006-24, Re: Amendments to the Guam Rules of Civil Procedure and Local Rules of the Superior Court for Civil Proceedings, which was filed on November 7, 2023. Members should review this order as it introduces new procedures and updates to filing document templates.
